قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِن رَّحْمَةِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ

Qul ya AAibadiya allatheena asrafoo AAala anfusihim la taqnatoo min rahmati Allahi inna Allaha yaghfiru a(l)ththunooba jameeAAan innahu huwa alghafooru a(l)rraheem(u)

Say you^-SW: O’ My^-SWT bondmen who have committed extravagance against themselves: Despair not of the Mercy of Allaah^-SWT : Verily Allaah^-SWT will forgive the sins altogether. Verily He^-SWT ! He^-SWT is the Forgiving, the Merciful.

(39:53)

وَأَنِيبُوا إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ وَأَسْلِمُوا لَهُ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ الْعَذَابُ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ

Waaneeboo ila rabbikum waaslimoo lahu min qabli an yatiyakumu alAAathabu thumma la tunsaroon(a)

Turn penitently to your Rabb^-SWT , and submit to Him^-SWT , before there comes to you the torment, and then you shall not be succoured.

(39:54)

وَاتَّبِعُوا أَحْسَنَ مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ العَذَابُ بَغْتَةً وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ

Wa(i)ttabiAAoo ahsana ma onzila ilaykum min rabbikum min qabli an yatiyakumu alAAathabu baghtatan waantum la tashAAuroon(a)

And follow the best of what has been sent down to you from your Rabb^-SWT before there comes to you the torment of a sudden, while you perceive not.

(39:55)

أَن تَقُولَ نَفْسٌ يَا حَسْرَتَى علَى مَا فَرَّطتُ فِي جَنبِ اللَّهِ وَإِن كُنتُ لَمِنَ السَّاخِرِينَ

An taqoola nafsun ya hasrata AAala ma farrattu fee janbi Allahi wain kuntu lamina a(l)ssakhireen(a)

Lest a soul should say: Alas! For that I have been remiss in respect of Allah^-SWT, and I was but of the scoffers!

(39:56)

أَوْ تَقُولَ لَوْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ هَدَانِي لَكُنتُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ

Aw taqoola law anna Allaha hadanee lakuntu mina almuttaqeen(a)

Or, lest it should say: Had Allaah^-SWT but guided me, I would surely have been of the pious!

(39:57)

أَوْ تَقُولَ حِينَ تَرَى الْعَذَابَ لَوْ أَنَّ لِي كَرَّةً فَأَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

Aw taqoola heena tara alAAathaba law anna lee karratan faakoona mina almuhsineen(a)

Or, lest it should say when it beholds the torment: Were there for me a return I would be of the well doers.

(39:58)

بَلَى قَدْ جَاءتْكَ آيَاتِي فَكَذَّبْتَ بِهَا وَاسْتَكْبَرْتَ وَكُنتَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ

Bala qad jaatka ayatee fakaththabta biha waistakbarta wakunta mina alkafireen(a)

Yea! Surely there came to you My-SWT revelations, but you belied them and were stiff-necked and were of the infidels.

(39:59)

وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تَرَى الَّذِينَ كَذَبُواْ عَلَى اللَّهِ وُجُوهُهُم مُّسْوَدَّةٌ أَلَيْسَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِّلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ

Wayawma alqiyamati tara allatheena kathaboo AAala Allahi wujoohuhum muswaddatun alaysa fee jahannama mathwan lilmutakabbireen(a)

And on the Day of Judgment you shall see those who lied against Allah^-SWT -their faces blackened. Is not the abode of the stiff-necked in Hell?

(39:60)

وَيُنَجِّي اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوا بِمَفَازَتِهِمْ لَا يَمَسُّهُمُ السُّوءُ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

Wayunajjee Allahu allatheena ittaqaw bimafazatihim la yamassuhumu a(l)ssooo wala hum yahzanoon(a)

And Allaah^-SWT will deliver them who feared Him^-SWT to their. Place of safety. Evil will not touch them, nor will they grieve.

(39:61)

اللَّهُ خَالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَكِيلٌ

Allahu khaliqu kulli shayin wahuwa AAala kulli shayin wakeel(un)

Allah^-SWT is the Creator of everything, and He^-SWT is a Trustee over everything.

(39:62)

لَهُ مَقَالِيدُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ أُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ

Lahu maqaleedu a(l)ssamawati wa(a)lardi wa(a)llatheena kafaroo biayati Allahi olaika humu alkhasiroon(a)

His^-SWT are the keys of the heavens and the earth; and those who disbelieve in the revelations of Allaah^-SWT -those! They are the losers.

(39:63)
